Size GuidePlease READ THIS before purchasing. Like 99% of the coral on the market these days, this coral has been dyed to create this colour. The coral I use is white bamboo coral which is not endangered or threatened in any way, unlike natural coral. A new (not vintage) natural coral necklace like this is not only made from unlawfully obtained endangered species but will also cost over £1500.
This absolutely stunning long necklace has been handmade with love in Cardiff, UK using genuine, salmon orange coral beads, nylon thread and a solid 925 sterling silver lobster clasp.
The coral has been shaped, polished and dyed to create round, shiny beads. The beads measure approximately 7 mm - 7.5 mm and create a very unique look. Every little bead has a unique and beautiful pattern.
The necklace is 50" long, which is around 127 cm. You can wear it in so many different ways: as a long necklace, tie a knot at the bottom (see photo) or layer it to create a multi-strand necklace.
I use the best nylon thread to ensure durability. A little knot is tied between every single bead to make sure the coral beads do not rub on each other while worn. If a beaded necklace is not knotted, the rubbing will eventually damage the gems and there is a higher chance it will break. Also, knotting prevents the beads from falling off the strand if it breaks.
